The idea of “I love the 90’s” was born at Alban’s 50 year birthday party August last year. Disappointed about today’s dance music scene together with Haddaway he decided to turn the clock back and created the anthem “I love the 90s”.

With it Doc Alban & Haddaway want to point out that too many things went wrong the last years. Quality and ideas seem to have gone, the hit catalogue of the past is just recycled and tons of bad cover versions are flooding the market. There are too many DJs pretending to make music and real artists are replaced by dolls hopping around on stage to full playback…

The message is clear…we want it back – the quality of the 90’s!
