In what was admittedly a rather bland month for hard dance, it was refreshing to hear two of the finest talents on the scene sticking their necks out and trying something completely out of their comfort zone. Lee Haslam & Guy Mearns (better known to us as Tidy's protégé Guyver) created a monster in 'Zippa', a track which took the freshest elements of tech-trance and NRG and combined them into what can only be described as a bastard musical offspring. Driven by a floor-destroying bassline and stuffed with cool FX noises, this awesome little number stands head and shoulders above the pack this month.
